Splash some water into your face. Pour about 1 teaspoon of facial cleanser right into your palm. Mix with an equal part (1 teaspoon) of liquid of your choice (water usually) to make paste. You should add liquid slowly during which you may use your finger to mix and test the consistency (batter consistency that is neither too runny nor too thick). You may add more water or powder to achieve desired consistency.
Start washing like you would with soap or a regular cleanser on your damp face for 1 minute. Gently rinse off with lukewarm water.
Tip #1: This cleanser doubles as as a soothing floral mask. Pour about 1-2 teaspoons of powder, then add 1-2 teaspoons of water to make paste. Spread on cleansed, damp skin and leave for 15 minutes (spray some floral water to avoid drying of paste). Then wet fingers to soften mask in circular motion, gently rinse off with lukewarm water. 1-2 times a week, avoiding eye and lip areas when use as a mask. (Start off with 1 teaspoon to make paste, and spread it on skin. If the paste is not enough, you may then make more paste and re-apply)
Tip #2: You can use toner, floral water, spring or filtered water, herbal tea, freshly brewed green tea, soymilk, vegan milk, fresh squeezed citrus juice (orange, grapefruit) to replace water to make paste. After mixing with an equal part of water or liquid of your choice to make paste, you may also add some [Aura Cacia Glycerin] or honey for extra hydration and nourishment during wash or treatment (esp. for dry and sensitive skin types)
